Report - An Analysis of Temporary Assistance to Needy Families and Workforce Investment Act Cooperation

The Summit County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) administers programs that focus on self-sufficiency, including both Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). This report was prepared by The Center for Community Solutions at the request of Summit CDJFS, under the direction of Summit County Executive, Russell M. Pry. It examines current procedures, with a view toward better integrating the services and programs offered at The Job Center and increasing the work participation rate among TANF recipients.
