The Job Center
The Job Center? Think of it as the Workforce Mall The Job Center in Summit County is a facility where more than 20 workforce service providers are housed under the same roof to better serve the needs of both businesses and job seekers.
The facility is the result of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 which mandated that career centers be developed throughout the nation for the convenience of employers and job seekers.
The Job Center is based on the premise that a public/private partnership done well is the best solution to our workforce issues. The Job Center is business driven to accommodate all of our community’s workforce needs. It's mission is to maximize employment and economic opportunity in Summit County by being the resource for every employer and job seeker in the region.

Did You Know? - There is no cost to customers using The Job Center.
- There are extended evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- An average of 250 people visit The Job Center every day.
