Special Programs for Veterans, Lower Income and Individuals Who Have Lost Their Jobs
The Job Center offers many free services (some may require individuals to meet certain eligibility guidelines). Services can include:
Funds for training (books, tuition, lab fees, small tools and equipment)
Individual career guidance and counseling
Labor market information
Relocation assistance
Skill upgrades
Supportive services (transportation and childcare assistance)
Career Express 3-Week Intensive Job Readiness Workshop
On-the-Job Training with area employers and more.
You may qualify for these programs if you meet specific income guidelines and are in one or more of the following categories:
Unemployed/Underemployed Adult
Dislocated Worker
Veterans
